According to the Nation, details about the circumstances that led to her death were sketchy at press time, but she was believed to be traveling for medical treatment abroad.
Moments before her death the passenger reportedly suffered a bout of pain that made her rush to the toilet where she died.
Confirming the incident, spokesman of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Yakubu Dati said the agency was investigating the death and would give details of what happened later.
Meanwhile, a new report by the Accident Investigation Bureau which investigated the August 15, 2015, Bristow helicopter crash into the lagoon in the Oworonshoki area of Lagos state has found 23 likely causes of the accident.
According to Sahara Reporters, the Bureau’s report shows that fpour people died in the accident including two of the crew members, one of them an American. Six people were seriously injured in the accident.
The preliminary report stated that the rescue effort was swift due to the quick response of fishermen who first noticed the wreck and responded.
