PDP Buying PVCs For 10,000 Naira

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has made an allegations that agents of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have resorted to buying the PVCs of some voters in a bid to gain the upper hand in the forthcoming elections.

In a statement issued in Lagos today, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said a company, Agro-Allied Communities Service Nigeria Limited, has been formed to...
provide N50,000 loan each to ‘empower’ women.

It said, however, that anyone seeking to get the loan must provide her PVC as ‘collateral’, which is a ploy by the PDP to mop up PVCs, especially in opposition strongholds.

The APC said it is obvious that the reason for the recent election  postponement was for the ruling party to perfect its rigging plans ahead of the elections.

The party warned those behind the acts to desist from their actions and cautioned its members and Nigerians not to sell their PVCs, advising them to use their cards to effect change in governance.
